What is Energy Insecurity?
The National Institutes of Health defines energy insecurity as “An inability to adequately meet basic household energy needs.”
Each month, energy insecure families across the country are faced with the difficult decision of forgoing basic needs so they can pay their high energy bills.
Making Energy Equitable
MegaLight’s work with non-profit organizations centers around the belief that everyone should have access to affordable and reliable energy resources, regardless of their socio-economic status or location.
We work with our non-profit partners to eliminate energy insecurity by delivering education and smart home products to community members so they can reduce their energy consumption and lower their utility bills.

MegaLight and our Utility Partners strive to make energy efficient discounts available to all households by providing donations on select Energy Star® Certified home products.
Participating Non-Profit Benefits Include:
- Energy efficient packages offered to member base.
- Products shipped directly to your Non-Profit at no cost!
Non-Profit Requirements:
- Provide MegaLight with a letter of interest stating mission statement and members serviced.
- Product must be distributed in the community you serve.
- Provide a picture of events that you serve, and we can highlight your organization to show sponsorship how packages are being utilized.
